PP LGF (PP Long glass fiber)
Properties
PP long glass fiber improves much mechanical strength of PP compound such as higher impact at low temperature, better creep behavior at elevated temperature, lower warpage over PP short glass fiber. PP LGF also exhibits better flow, lower mold temperature as well as dimensionally stable and lighter weight than PA6
Applications
PP LGF is getting popular to replace metal and PA6 such as frontend module, fan shroud as well as to improve design to lower weight of the part made from PP compound in automotive application such as IP carrier, door module, tail gate etc.
