PC (Polycarbonate)
Properties
PC is transparent amorphous thermoplastic. Light transmission is nearly as glass. It has very high impact strength, very good dimensional stability, high heat resistance (HDT 135C). PC structure can be modified known as PC copolymer to enhance properties such as higher heat resistance (HDT up to 190c), higher impact strength at low temperature, higher flow, superior weatherability and thin wall FR.
Applications
PC is very useful plastic for application that requires transparency, high impact, and high heat resistance such as housing of electronics devices, smartphone case, lens, automotive head light, exterior trim, automotive wind shield, luggage, canopy.
